The Cygnet, though paddled at a shorter overall length than its adult version, the Swan, retains the blade shape and paddle-ability of the legendary Northwoods-style paddles.
The shorter handle-plate on the Cygnet still allows for an overhand or palm grip as well as retaining a comfortable conventional grip position.
With a blade area equal to that of the Big Dipper, the Cygnet isn’t short on power; however, with the surface area distributed over a slightly longer but narrower blade shape, it will be easier on the muscles over a long day’s paddle.
